01.The deal
Using the site means you're fine with what's below. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the fix is easy: close the tab.
02.What this is
A free set of in-browser tools for converting and editing audio. The work runs on your machine. No accounts, no upload step, no Pro tier.
03.Don't be a jerk
Don't run files through here that you have no right to. That includes:
- Copyrighted music you don't own a license to.
- Audio you scraped from streaming services in violation of their terms.
- DRM-protected files (we can't decrypt them anyway, but don't try to use this tool as part of a workflow that does).
- Anything someone gave you in confidence and doesn't want re-shared.
Whatever you process is your responsibility.
04.It's as-is
We try to make it work. We can't promise it'll handle every weird file correctly — audio encoders disagree on edge cases, and some recordings in the wild are broken in interesting ways. Keep an original of anything you'd be sad to lose.
05.If something goes sideways
Whatever happens between you and your files, we're not on the hook. That covers the obvious stuff (lost data, missed deadlines, missing audio takes) and the less obvious stuff (a streaming service rejecting a file we transcoded).
06.Other people's stuff
Under the hood we use the Web Audio API, lamejs (MIT), and ffmpeg.wasm (LGPL). FFmpeg is a separate open-source project and we are not affiliated with it. Ads come from Google AdSense and are governed by Google's policies.
07.If this page changes
If we change anything here, the date at the top moves. That's the only signal.
