01.The short version
Your audio files stay on your computer. Every tool here runs in your browser tab — no upload, no server-side processing, nothing. If you don't believe me, load the page, switch to airplane mode, and try a file. Still works.
02.What does get collected
- Normal web-server logs. The host (Cloudflare Pages) records request data — IP, user-agent, which URL you hit — the same as basically every site. Used for outages and abuse, kept briefly.
- Ad cookies if you opt in. Google AdSense sets cookies to serve relevant ads. Pick "essential only" in the consent banner and AdSense switches to non-personalized.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic counts (page views, country, browser). Only fires after you accept analytics cookies. No audio data, no personal identifiers.
- One localStorage key,
fex_consent_v1, which stores whether you accepted cookies. Stays on your device.
03.What does NOT get collected
- The audio files you convert, cut, or join. We don't have them. They never leave your browser tab.
- The names of files you process, the lengths, the bitrates — none of it.
- Account info. There are no accounts to make.
04.Third parties
- Google AdSense (display ads). Their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated, anonymized traffic counts. Only fires after consent. Their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Pages (hosting and CDN).
- jsDelivr / unpkg CDN — JavaScript libraries (lamejs, ffmpeg.wasm) load from these public CDNs on first use, then your browser caches them. The CDNs see your IP at load time; they don't see your audio.
05.Your options
Clear cookies any time from your browser settings. Or block JavaScript — the tools won't function, but you can still read these pages.
